Ok, this snake is actually reminding me of a children's book that I used to read to the Kindergarten when I was at Cimarron (Lahoma/Ames). The title is Verdi, and he loves his snazzy racing stripes and doesn't want to get old and green because those snakes don't do flips in the air like Verdi does. The author is Cannon. I think you'd like it...because this snake is Verdi!
