Better news today
The prayers are working, so keep them up! I saw Dr Comp, the hematologist, this morning. I thanked him for squeezing me in so quickly, I updated him on my boys, and then we talked about me. He has NO problem with me having the surgery and I walked out of there with the prescription I needed in hand! He is going to call Dr Walton and explained how doable this is. Basically, with the factor replacement (that I can infuse myself with before and after surgery) I need to be treated just like any other patient. All the follow up regarding labs to make sure my levels stay high enough during initial recovery will be done by the hematology office. He did not even charge me my copay!
The final say is still with Dr Walton, so I still need those prayers.
And by the way Amy -- all I could do was try not to stare at those eyebrows! LOL

Nancy that's great news!!! I thought you were talking about Amy. I was thinking..what's wrong with Amy's eyebrows...I never noticed. Then I realized your doctor has a unibrow. My daughter and I just love unibrows! I pluck my DH so he doesn't have a unibrow. He even had his waxed once...but he had red marks for days so he prefers the slow torture of plucking to ripping out a million hairs at once! lol
ONEDERLAND!!!! FINALLY!!!! WHOOOO HOOOOO!
