nerves!!
SORRY TO KEEP POSTING ABOUT HOW NERVOUS I AM BUT I JUST NEED TO LET IT ALL OUT. I WONDER IF THE BUTTERFLIES IN MY BIG STOMACH KNOW THERE WON'T BE ROOM IN MY LIL' STOMACH AFTER MONDAY? MY HUSBAND IS GOING TO TRY TO KEEP ME BUSY TOMORROW TO KEEP MY MIND OFF OF THE SURGERY AND THE FACT THAT I CAN'T EAT ANYTHING. I DON'T KNOW IF I COULD EAT ANYTHING TOMORROW ANYWAY BEING THIS NERVOUS. I KNOW THE DR AND STAFF WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF ME BUT I STILL AM VERY NERVOUS. WAS EVERYONE ELSE THIS NERVOUS? I AM NOT SO NERVOUS THAT I AM THINKING OF BACKING OUT NO SIREE!!! I HAVE WAITED TOO LONG FOR THIS AND I CAN'T WAIT TO BE ON THE OTHER SIDE GIVING ADVICE BUT FOR NOW I NEED ADVICE!! THANK YOU GUYS FOR BEING SO HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE AND LETTING ME VENT AND WORRY!!
Hey girlie! You are COMPLETELY normal! I posted a few days before my surgery to make sure I wasn't some crazy girl. I was extremely nervous beforehand. I submitted it to a LOT of prayer and when I woke up the morning of my surgery, I was ready to get it done. I pray God gives you that peace that passes all understanding and you can just relax. It will be fine, I know! You hang in there, chickadee...you'll be on the loser's bench in no time.
HUGS and PRAYERS!!!!

I think anyone undergoing surgery for any reason, will feel nervous beforehand, so I think your feelings are completely normal. I waited almost six months from my consultation to the actual surgery day, and I had those six months to fret and worry about the surgery. When I got the surgery date, I was soooo excited I almost "forgot" all they worrying I had done for six months..I was anxious, and deep down, I was nervous, it's just that the excitement took over. What made me nervous more than anything was the unknown part of it - never had surgery before - the anesthesia part was mostly what concerned me. My experience was great as I am sure yours will be....you'll do great!! - Anna
You are totally normal and have every right to be nervous. It's all going to be okay though. Just remember most of us have allready been through this and we made it just fine.(after it was all over with) Do your best to try and relax and enjoy your day tomorrow. Stay busy, let go and let God handle it. " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". I repeat this over and over again when I am nervous. It works wonders, Rita
The docs remove most of the butterflies while they are in there! The ones they miss they drown with really good drugs! Seriously, you are perfectly normal. If you weren't nervous we would be worried about you. You are going to do great. I will be by to see you about 5 or 5:30 on Monday evening. We can go walk with Christy!
