heya gang!  just wanted you to know that I made it into Tulsa.  It's about 12:30 am and I'll be getting back up to catch my Dallas flight in a few hours.  I'm giddy about getting to OKC and meeting my wonderful group!  I'm really tired and hoping that I'll be able to catch up on some sleep after this procedure is done...lol... I've been eating sooooo good for the past week and a half....and then the urge hit me....  "taco bueno".....yes, yes, yes.... i know it's commonplace for you guys but for me.....I haven't had a taco in nearly a year....I splurged...I ate THREE and loved every bite....however, after my last bite, I realized that I think i chewed once per bite....sad.... but I'm back on low carb for the duration..... Anyway, will try to check in with you guys in a couple of days so i won't be online much tomorrow.  Can't wait to see you guys and gals! T.

Glad you made it safe and sound! I know what you mean by "Bueno". It's a family thing with us. Grew up on it and my brother stops there in Tulsa every trip down from Kansas City. Nothing quite as good as it in my opinion. Anyway, Looking forward to dinner Monday night. In the meantime, safe travels to Big D and back. Blessings, Cindy

Thomas, I am so glad that you made it here safely. I know that you are exhausted and excited at the same time. You have a busy week ahead of you. Will see you very soon. Have a fun filled weekend, but don't over do it. You have to be nice and healthy for your RNY. In other words, don't drink too much alcohol. See ya at Applebee's, Rita

The good folks at Taco Bueno will leave the chips out of the tortilla soup for you.  On a road trip when I was still on really soft mushies I stopped in-and was probably the first person to be dismayed at all the chicken (which I was unable to eat).

I dump  a side of beans in the tortilla soup (no chips) when I want a hearty soup but I don't want to cook.  There is lard in them thar beans though, so I try to steer towards Taco Bell most of the time.

Welcome back to OK! Have some fun, but be sure to focus on getting ready for your surgery.

Oh man, Taco Bueno ... and I bet you ate the taco shells, too! I'm just the very least little bit jealous. ; )

Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly
