Tulsa....Saturday????

I'm going to be in Tulsa on Saturday and would love to meet folks for coffee (if before 10) or lunch after....(If after I will have to bring my backpack in with me and there will be a snake in the backpack but if no one says anything no one will know but I didn't want to surprise anyone with that little tidbit)  Snake will be confined, is a baby, and not venomous.

If someone wants to do an outdoor Starbucks I'll probably bring a dog too, but if we decide to go inside I'll just leave the furry behind.

Uh, why would you have a baby snake in your backpack???  That seems a strange place to keep a baby.  Your post cracked me up!  Maybe Dan could bring his girlfriend's kids to see the snake? Denise

I will actually be in Tulsa this weekend at the Cherokee Casino.  Alas, it's for a pharmacy convention so I don't know how much free time I might have.  I know I have several required things that day.  I'll check the schedule at work tomorrow and see if I can work it in.  Would love to see the doggie but not a sure about the snake although I have an open mind.

Did you have a snake with you last night at Alfredo's???  lol  I am dying to know why you'll have a snake in a back pack.  Are you going to Tulsa to buy a baby snake???

Nope, I didn't have a snake last night-LOL....but I almost had a turtle.  Yes, I'm going to Tulsa to pick up a snake (actually trading a rack and a thermostat for the snake) and it will be in a rubbermaid, but I wouldn't want to leave it in the car-too hot.  So, I'll put the rubbermaid in a backpack and carry it in like a purse.

It's possible to smuggle a dog in a back pack or your coat, but it doesn't work very well in the summer months.

7 snakes (GloWorm) (Domino, Lucy, Ethel, Godfather, Blaze and this new fellow)

6 Dogs (Bitty, Prissy, Lily, Oliver, Greta and Cody)

1 turtle (Carolyn Slowsky)

1 cat (Pasht)

4 gerbils (Big Daddy, Big Mamma and 2 kits)

My first stop is at a Mcdonalds' on the highway-not sure where I'll be after that.

Edited: I can't believe I forgot to put

1 African Grey Parrot (Oliver)

He came prenamed and Oliver the dog was already here so I just call the Oliver the dog and Oliver the parrot-neither seems to mind.
