Ok, it's a lawn mower. LOL.
Situation: Daddy can't mow, I can't mow both lawns (bad ankle) and Mom won't let either of us hire someone to do both lawns (my first choice.....)... and I won't hire someone to mow MY lawn while my poor old Momma mows hers...and Daddy and I both want to die from shame when she's out mowing.........so I got myself a hot red snapper riding lawn mower and I'm the new lawn girl. And, I'm strangely excited-it's like a toy only you do some valuable work with it.
(Ok guys, work with me here, I'm trying to be upbeat).
Deb, I love mowing the lawn! And when I can no longer walk to do so, I would love a riding mower. I had one when we lived on an acre and it was fun!!! Great way to tan a little! Watch out for grasshoppers though! I was attacked (lol) by a grasshopper once...but our acre was more like a field than a lawn!!!
ONEDERLAND!!!! FINALLY!!!! WHOOOO HOOOOO!
I used to mow for my parents years ago when they had about an acre and it was a riding mower. I would never have admitted it to them but I kinda enjoyed it. I cranked up the tunes and sang at the top of my voice. I mean, who could hear me!? I got to know lots of lyrics by heart that summer so at least I sang the right words! Ha!
I LOVE to mow! We mow 2.5 acres and that's usually my Saturday morning job. My husband then trims, works the flower beds and garden and weed eats. I don't like for him to take over my job. It's my chance to get out and not think about much, listen to the phone or anyone for that matter!! You go lawn girl....work on that tan! Debbie
