Tonight's Support Group Meeting

I can't find this again on the boards, so I'll ask. The support group meeting is tonight, right? What time? It is at the office and anyone can come? I mean if you are just waiting for the sleeve, you can still come? How long do they last and what do they discuss?  Thanks, Sherry

It will start at 6:00.  Tonight is Dr. Panshi (plastic surgeon).  He will speak about an hour and discuss different surgeries he can do after weight loss.  He was there 2 weeks ago as well and was very informatinal.  The second half is just discussion among the group.  I always enjoy.  People talk about what procedure they had, when, their successes.  There will be pre-op and post op folks there.  Anyone is welcome as always for any of the meetings.  I don't think I'll be there tonight but I usually go to all of them.  They help keep me motivated and encouraged.  Debbie

You are absolutely welcome to come!!! Tonight, the plastic surgeon will be there again, so you'll get all kinds of info about that. The 2nd hour is my most favorite. :) That's when you get to hear everyone's successes and struggles and everything that comes with the surgery!!! It's from 6-8 at the WeightWise meeting room. I wish I could come tonight, but I'm just not going to make it! I'll be at the next one though. Enjoy!!!

Sherry, they welcome everyone!  My husband, who is not even a patient, always goes with me and loves them!  We will be there tonight, so if you go, seek me out.  I'll be the one in the purple shirt with the husband who asks a million questions!  Diana

If at all possible, GO! They're always great and so informative. Sorry I will miss everyone tonight. We're still in sunny Las Vegas. Which by the way has been relocated to the surface of the sun apparently. It is SOOOO hot out here. Can't even lay by the pool long without being in the water. But who's complaining? Not me. Ya'll have a great time and I'll see you Monday night at the Cowboy Roundup. LOL Cindy

Bummer. I'd planned to go but wound up not being able to come (long story). I'll just have to get a consult with the plastics doctor when I'm ready to just check into it.
