GOOD MORNING OKIE BUDDIES!

Hello Dear Friends, It has been a little while since we last talked.  I'm wondering how you all are doing.  Things are ok here.  The scale seems to be sticking again, and its frustrating because I  am doing all the "right" things and am back on track.  Sometimes I feel like I will never hit "Onederland" and will stay at this weight forever.  July 1 is my three year Surgiversary and I am afraid that my body has decided it just will not part with another pound.  Help! DH is doing ok but is extremely tired.  We continue to pray that he will get the liver transplant that he needs so desparatetly.   Our youngest son just graduated with a degree in broadcasting and has been applying for jobs all over the country.   One was at a station in OK but I can't remember the city name.  Usually, they do start out at in what they call "smaller markets" so I know it wasn't OKC or Tulsa.  I told him if he ends up there it will give me an excuse to visit and I hope then to be able to meet all of you folks.  You have been soooo supportive to me and I really appreciate it. I also have a cousin and an Aunt in Midland TX.  She has invited me down to visit but right now with Steve being so ill I simply can't do it.  How far is Midland from OK? My dear friend KAren is not doing well.  Please continue to keep her in prayer. Let me know how each of you are doing.  I am eagar to talk with you all. I am continuing my prayers for you, your husband, family and friend. That would be wonderful if he got a job here in OK. We would be so happy to finally meet  you! I am doing okay, still waiting on finances for my surgery but have decided to keep a possitive outlook for it. its hard sometimes.  We had our tulsa meeting last night. WOW we had a bunch show up(22?), we went to on the border. it was so nice. we had a great visit. You will get out of the slump soon and be losing again. take care and god bless sherrie

Hi Pam.  I haven't been around much lately.  Thank you for the update and I will continue to keep everyone in my prayers.  Stay the course and it will come off.  I just had my 2nd fill this week and can tell there is some restriction.  May God truly bless your family during this difficult time.  Keep us informed on both Steve and Karen.  Also keep us informed about your son's job search.
