Ain't no stoppin me now baby!!!

I am clean and green!! NO blockages Praise God!  I just can't tell you enough how thankful I am for all the people that replied and gave me best wishes and those that shared their stories with me.  Dr. Spielman said he was sending his release to Dr. Broussard today.  I have a plug in my leg/groin that I have to be careful of for a few days.  The ony issue I just looked at the cotton gauze that is taped over the IV site and it is solid red.  I don't think it is still bleeding though. I think must have bled earlier and I just now noticed.  The coolest thing was the lady that started my IV noticed I was nervous and asked me if I was a Christian.  I said yes and she said let's pray.  We had a good old fashioned come to Jesus prayer meeting right there in the Mercy lab.  It was awesome.  I had such a peace after that.

AWESOME AMY!!!!   I just knew things were going to be alright!!!  Now it is YOUR time to get on with your journey!!!!  YIPPEE!!!!   Keep an eye on that gauze so that you don't have any issues - we don't need you to upset that plug!  When I had mine (thankfully) they did it in my wrist - still hurt like the dickens but a least I didn't have to go to the groin!  Most of the time they still cannot get my pulse in that right wrist because of the scar tissue left, it is pretty funny watching them try though!! Well, we will miss you this evening but I can't wait to see you on Monday to give you a GIANT HUG!!! Continued Peace!!! 

Hallelujah!!!! Amy, this is GREAT news!!! I know you are relieved and I'm so happy for you! I'm so glad the nurse prayed with you ... that makes such a big difference. I hope you have a wonderful week now! You are destined to be on the bench soon! : )

I'm SOOOOO happy for you!!!! I have prayed for you a lot since your post about the angiogram. I just think it's awesome to know you're cleared, which just means to me that God's hand is on this WLS and it is happening in His timing!!!! :)  Love ya, Chick!!! Liz

Yep,  those barrage of prayers worked!!  :)  Now I am kicked back in the recliner with my laptop on a pillow just chilling out.  I will go to work tomorrow because it is board meeting day and i really need to be there.  But, I'm going to go in around noon.  I will just take it easy, attend the board meeting and then probably come home early.

Still no lifting, They probably gave you Plavix just before or right after your Angio. They do that to prevent any clots, but it does cause you to bleed a little more than usual. They gave me 6 just after my stent placement in Jan. You are doing great....Take it slow and easy until that site is closed. I'm so excited for you!! This is great!!   Sherry

Hey Sherry,  thank for that info.  That probably explains why I bled so much at the IV site.  The plug in my leg is still good and no bleeding there.  I am taking it easy.  I'm supposed to apply pressure to my groin if I have to sneeze or cough.  I really hope I don't need to sneeze or cough during the board meeting tomorrow...that would look a bit ackward!! LOL!! 

I am so excited for you.  I have been thinking about your and said a prayer as well.  I agree that it is an AWESOME thing when those in the meidcal field sense when we are nervous and offer to pray with us.  My son and daughter-in-law are both docs and they recognize that without HIM they alone are no more than His tools!!!  I can't wait to meet you and wish you could be with us for meet and greet tonight!  Debbie
