Amy - Great News!!!!! I knew it would turn out fine...you are on a roll now!!!! I had the same plug in the groing area, and you just have to be careful (no lifting and stuff like that) - I just milked for a few days and had my husband do everything.... - so overall it wasn't a big deal. I am getting so excited about your surgery day - YEAH!!!

Yea Amy!  God is listening to the prayers of all of us WLS patients and He knew it was time to give you a break!  That is just fabulous news! Take care of your groin (man, that sounds bad) and keep us posted! See you Monday! Kim

Ya know sometimes great things happen to great people....and that's why things worked out for you.  We love you and we had all the faith in the world that things would work for you.  You're one of the most sincere people on this board and I'm proud to say that you're my friend! YAY...new life just ahead for you!!!! T.

Now if I can just make it through the board meeting I have tomorrow without coughing or sneezing...i'm supposed to hold my groin area if that happens.  Can you just imagine? LOL  thanks for the encouragement.  Its weird to feel so close to people you have never even met in real life.  However, that is going to change soon  I should be able to make it Monday night.

I am so excited for you!  Praise God!!!! What a wonderful relief for you and your family!!!  I can't tell you how much I thank God for the heart hospital and the wonderful staff.  On the day of my husband's arteriogram when we got the bad news that he needed open heart bypass, our nurse was a pastor's grand daughter.  She prayed with us too! After spending several hours together that day we asked if she could be our nurse on the day of his bypass. She was just wonderful!  And one of the other nurse gave us scripture cards.  They ask first but once they know you are a Christian they hold your hand and bind their faith with yours to get through what you face.  I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience there and I am so glad it was the same for you!  Now you can relax and prepare for the next step!!!!  Hooray!!!

I read your post (this and the previous one) and kept you in my thoughts and prayers. I don't usually make a post (not enough time in the day), but I do have to say, this one brought me to tears. It's great when God tosses another Christian your way to let you know and remind you that He is near and cares for you. Thanks to Him, the nurse who was sensitive enough to listen to Him, and you for receiving it!
