Hey I was just wondering if anyone in here uses the insurence first health PPO if so were you able to get approved for the weight loss surgery???

I don't know.  However, keep us posted (or PM me) because that is what my son has and he is thinking he might want WLS.  I hope you get approved! Denise
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

Well I actully do have some good news... I just got of the phone with doctor g's office and first health does cover the insurence its just a matter weather or not your work place covers it and guess what my husbands work does cover it WOOHOO!!!! (gosh I just hope I am not getting my hopes up and get let down)

I have First Health and they would have covered it- my employer's policy; however, excludes WLS.
(50 lbs lost pre-op)

aww I am so sorry to hear that Anna, so far its looking up for me my insurence has a folder started and they have requested my height weight an BMI and a couple other things which I should be able to get sent by next week...
