Be glad you don't have the hungry's. I'm two and half weeks out and find myself getting hungry, can't hold very much, but still wanting to eat, is that head hunger or what? Anyway, enjoy it while it lasts, you are doing great, is your energy level staying up? Don't let yourself get run down.

Best, Shelby

Shelby, I started feeling hunger at about 2 1/2 weeks also,  It wasn't the growling stomach thing but kind a hollow, empty feeling.  I am easily filled up and happy.  However, that being said, I had some hunger (?) last night after dinner.  I really think it was my body demanding additional calories to sustain life.  I negotiated with my body and we had a protein bar (the wafer kind- goes down really well.) Did you stall when you started mushies or is it too early to know? Denise
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

You're doing great! The first week I wasn't hungry either. But, toward the end of the second week I was ready to stalk and mug anybody coming out of Taco Bell with Pintos N Cheese! ; )

I hope your entire journey goes smoothly!

Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly

I was the same way. Warm stuff was yucky after the first 2 days. Got my protein from one shake a day. The rest was just what you're doing. Closer to my 2 week mark, I got into the popsicles and jello a little because I wanted to chew. You're doing great!!!! Keep it up. Cindy

I didn't like chicken or beef broth at all either or popsicles.  I liked the liquid off of Campbell's vegetable soup though (dangit, I think I just gave myself another craving lol)... I drank tons of water.  I have ALWAYS struggled with protein shakes and have had to get creative with protein bars and food to get my protein in every day because I really don't tolerate them well, even after 4 years.  Tastes change all the time.  I don't think you're weird at all...  Jus****ch out for the ever-changing taste buds.  They are gonna take you by surprise.

Liz - you are normal (or I am a weirdo too!!) I also did nothing bu****er. Broth was too salty, don't like jello, and I was too cold for popsicles. I only had a shake each day and then nothing else bu****er. Even today, I drink nothing but plain water (96 of it !), can't stand flavored waters because they taste like sugar free sweetners....yeah I am right up there when it comes to being picky with food and drinks....Anna

Since I'm a true friend, I'll tell you the truth!  Yup!  You're weird!  But I love ya anyway!  LOL!!!  PS I have always HATED plain water.  Surgery didn't change that!  (sigh...)

Not a weirdo ~ just part of a whole new "herd".  Dr. Walton says all humans are herd animals so all us wls folks are a herd of another color...Okay, Okay, no more cliche's.....You're just fine.  I didn't eat jello or popcicles until late in the second week.
