Let's Say Howdy

I told some people at the dinner tonight that I wasn't sure that I had 5 interesting things to say about myself but I must join in! 1)  I am a very happy person.  I have a great life and I love humor.  I try to see the funny in everything.  Not always appropriate at work but that's a line I'm trying to define!  Ha! 2)  I am a graduate of the best university in the country - OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY!  I also bleed orange!  I have a degree in advertising. 3)  I love sports of all kinds!  I watch football, tennis, ice skating, basketball and even some Tiger Woods golf.  My favorite is college football.  It's so exciting and unpredictable! 4)  I've been married to the same wonderful, kind, funny and generous man for nearly 17 years.  He is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Brooklyn until I made him move to Oklahoma in 1991 when we got married.  I lived in NYC for 2 years - never doing that again!!! 5)  I was a travel agent for 17 years.  I started when I was in high school and worked my way through college and then after.  I quit when the commissions were getting cut.  My husband is still a travel agent is the the BEST at what he does. 6)  I love to travel.  I have been blessed to go many places in my life and am looking to add to my list of places I love in the world. 7)  I was not blessed with children so I make up for it by being a child myself!  But I do have a dependent - my kitty cat who is 16 years old and is saddled with the unfortunate name of "Carpet Cat". Ok, I did pretty well for someone who didn't know what to say!  No so unusual for someone who likes to talk!  (ooh, that makes 8 things "revealed")

Lived in NYC, travel agent, travels...I'd say you qualify as a pretty interesting person (and pretty nice too).

Thanks hoodoo!  It was such a pleasure to meet you last night.  I wish I had a chance to talk to you more but the seating wasn't real helpful with that.  Maybe next time we should set it up like speed dating where we have to change tables every 5 minutes.  Ha!  Hope to see you again soon!  In the meantime, enjoy your bike and your animals!
