Essure, ladies want your opinions/knowledge
AB - have you been up to their website? I had not even heard of this since I had a hysterectomy several years ago I don't keep up with BC any longer. It seems like a promising procedure.
Do you know anyone who has had it done? I wish I could help but I'm ignorant about BC any more! Thank goodness for my hyst!!!
Good Luck though with your research!!

COURAGE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF FEAR BUT RATHER
THE ABILITY TO CONTINUE IN THE PRESENCE OF FEAR.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, wow!! I didn't know what it was either.
I had a bilateral tubal ligation in 1992 after the birth of my son and was told horrible things by people who thought it was their business.."What happens if something happens to one of your kids???" My answer, "They're not animals...it's not like they can be replaced!"
Anyway, it sounds good to me. Be ready for heavier periods, unless that's just with the actual surgery. I had a total hysterectomy in 2004 and the ligation had become a mess inside.
Your procedure sounds better than mine.
I khow someone who has had this procedure done, she said it was very painful, and has nothing but problems with it since.
I have to tell ya, I have and IUD, and I love it. I havent have a period in 5 months, and it has worked wonders for my server cramps.
Obvisouly(spelling) I dont know all the details of your situation, but I would really consider all options before choosing something not reversable (hope that doesnt make me sound too much like a jack ass, I had the VSG and its not reversible.)
Good Luck in whichever procedure you choose.

My sister who has horrible cramping and cysts on ther ovaries, had a procedure done that has changed her life....I don't know what it was called, but it was like a D&C but different. It prevents pregnancy but since it kept the ovaries she has all her hormones....It did calm her moods down too...She was a raging B at times. She is doing great now and so happy she did it...I'll call her and find out what it was when she gets home from work, in case you want to know. Sherry
