Thanks to Hoodoo for suggesting a barter thread. Here is where we list what we have that we don't want/need anymore. Then we can contact each other to barter for something. I'll start it: 1. Nordic Track Powertread 2000. Used in excellent condition. Has a new power board. Willing to deliver just about anywhere. 2. Size 10 MBT shoes. Used in outstanding condition...they simply got too wide for me. 3. Clothes: Jeans, denim skirts, tops. Used sizes 14-18. I will no longer do the OH clothing exchange. I've been burned on too much postage.

I am making a pile of clothes and bras that no longer fit.  I think most of them are 22/24.   If we want to get a group together to paw through clothes we can meet at my house some weekend.  Or, maybe GlitterGal could do it at her house since it is bigger.  Let's plan something ladies.  I hate having clothes sit around gathering dust uf someone needs them. Isnt it amazing how common courtesy has gone down the toilet.  I mailed stuff to people just to give it to them, sometimes spending up to $20.00 on postage and some of them didnt even send a thank you note!  I mean I didnt expect anything cause I knew those people would not be able to pay but a stamp and a note, HELLO!!!!!!!! Denise on the AR board sent me a box full of clothes, I could see what the postage was and added like $10 to it just for her time and gas and all and still got a good deal on what I got for sure and even sent her a nice thank you card too. I am amazed anymore at people, I have given some of my son's clothes to ladies at work for their kids or grandkids and no note, AMAZING isnt.

Sorry you got burned on the postage/mailing costs.  OH put out an email recently because of the clothing exchange to do a COD only from now on..........................................common courtesy.................would not have required this in the past.

Ok done ranting.

These sound like great ideas to me, ladies. We could meet on a Saturday somewhere and bring stuff. I need to do something  because we are cleaning out our storage building and downsizing. I had a 3000 sq. ft home in Enid and here we have a 1695 sf one, so I'm needing to get radical. I also have 3 extra large lawn and leaf bags full of my mother's coats.

I'm up for the whole clothing barter and trade thing.  I have some 18's and 20's to get rid of.  I am in desperate need of 14's and 16's and would love to see what you have.  I went to Ross on Friday and bought a couple of outfits, but can't see the point in spending all that money when i'm only (hopefully) going to wear them for a month or two.  Let me know what yall decide.  Saturdays work for me too.  We could do it after our walk or something.  Diana

Diana, I know there are Tommy jeans in 14..There are at least 2-3 pair. I think there are tops too. I'm getting pathetically low on tops and most clothes.

I would love those!  Are you going to dinner at Alfredo's?  Do you think you could bring them then? Thanks a bunch!  Diana

I was going to suggest this Sautrday but Kim will be out of town on business.  And we both will be gone the next Saturday.  What date works for you gals?  If we don't get this organized it won't happen.  We might be able to get permission from Weight Wise to meet after the seminar.  Anyone know who we would ask?
