Ruth! I AM a biker chick and I'm looking forward to being able to wear totally inappropriate biker babe clothes if I want to. I had my mid life crisis at 40 and decided I needed to learn to ride. I'm too much of a control freak to ride behind DH. A year and a half later, I'm the proud owner of the most beautiful black and magenta (the paint is called "Mistress") HD Heritage Softtail. It's extremely girly and I love it!! You're right; it's so freeing! So ride behind (ok, you dirty minded people, shut it as Ruth says), or do it yourself, just have fun and be safe!!! Cindy

LTS:  I always used to look at those girls on the back of the bikes and think - PUT SOME CLOTHES ON .... forget it!!  I was HAPPY to have on a nice tight set of .... tank tops and capri jeans.  Until about 10pm anyway, then the wind was getting the best of this girl.  But the closer you get to the driver, the better off that situation becomes, sooooo....  YEP I'll just ride behind and practice my "holding on" techniques!!! The thing about safety, both dates were very safety conscious and that made me very comfortable.  I mean, I had to even be talked through getting ON the silly bike much less getting off the bike without killing myself, making a fool of myself, etc.   I didn't pick you as a Biker Chick but I LIKE it!!  LOL....  Mid-Life Crisis - am I having one of those????  Hmmmm....we might have to explore that concept!!  Could answer ALOT of questions right now!!! Are you going to be able to come to the meet & greet on Wednesday??  You better get your @$$ there woman!!! R

Take a look at the pics on my profile, I just posted four pics of my bike, (my BABY). They are not the greatest pics, I will replace them later. I bought my bike new in 2003, Yamaha V-Star 650 and she is just as pretty as the days I got her!

JDR: AWESOME!!  The bike I rode on Thursday evening was a V-star, the one on Saturday was a Honda - not sure much else except they both had really nice B*TCH seats and a nice backrest for this little chick!  Of course, I made sure I didn't USE that backrest much or else I wouldn't have been in direct contact with the driver!!!  ROFLMAO!!! The ride was nice on BOTH bikes....the rest is a secret!! LOL!!  Like anything in MY life lately is a secret!!   I don't think I would ever have the abilities to actually be driving one of those babies myself.  I much prefer to sit pretty on the back Thank You!!!    R

Yea Ruth!!!! for real...it's the most free-ing (I know, not a word) experience ever!  I have ridden for years and last year bought my own so now DH & I can go riding together, but not on the same bike!  We also ride around Draper and the wind by on the dam can get kind of crazy, but you're right!  What a thrill!!  Glad you're enjoying this new experience.  Now you're hooked 'biker-babe'...LOL

LMAO, girlfriend. DH has 2, and I'm working on getting my license. I plan to buy myself one in the next year or so using some of my inheritance on it. I want a Harley in a baaaaaaaad way. There's a used Harley touring bike in Enid right now I really want. DH and I plan to ride them to all the NASCAR races we're going to attend in the next few years. I used to ride when I was a skinny teenager..drove my sister's and rode on the back of my boyfriend's bike...have ridden with DH only once on his due to weighing 300+ pounds when he bought it. I plan to buy myself a new cycle jacket as the old one is too big and has gone off to a good home. Black biker boots will complete the ensemble. And I know you're expecting a gutter mind here and I most certainly will NOT shut it: Gotta love the feel of all that power between your legs. * Sorry if I offended anyone.* Biker babe clothes coming back here as well..halters..need to find my Harley earrings unless I gave them back to the ex-boyfriend..hmm.... Bought a bikini as a 4th of July surprise for DH..yeah..I agree to the huevos with WLS attitude tooo..

Charlotte: "Gotta love the feel of all that power between your legs. "   And the Bike was pretty sweet too!!!  (ROFLMAO!!!)   Frankly - give me a couple tank tops and a pair of jeans and I was good.  I really didn't get chilled until late in the evening and the muscular hunky back in front of me was a good enough heat source to correct that situation!!  AND I bought a swimsuit yesterday too!  I didn't get as brave as you with the bikini - bought a tankini that has a halter top though!   I don't know who this is that has invaded my body but I hope she sticks around!!  She is pretty fun!!!
