Hi guys - I've gotten a few e-mails this morning wondering if I was alright. I am. Just tired and a bit sore still. The ride home almost killed me, I'm pretty sure. So, I got home, had some of my precious liquid loritab and went to bed. Then...like clock work, my mom woke me up a few hours later and said, "Come on...we're going for a walk." I appreciate her SO much. My little guy and I are staying with them over the weekend so I can just kind of take it easy. Except for the whole singing at a wedding thing tomorrow. lol Am I crazy? Yes...I believe I am. I'm excited about it because it's a friend of mine that I never see, but I'm a little nervous about getting up and singing with my stomach muscles feeling like they do. I've been practicing some ,and so far I'm alright...just hoping it stays that way!!! :) Well...enough rambling for one post. I'll try to be back on later!!! Liz

So glad to hear from you!  I was wondering how you were doing!  You should feel better after today.  Just keep the liquid Lortab coming! Can't believe you're singing at a wedding this weekend.  You're a tough gal!  My throat was even back to normal by the weekend.  Good for you!  You will do great!

I suspected you were superwoman when you posted so soon after surgery- and it made sense!  Now I know for certain that you are superwoman!  Can I see your costume at the next support meeting????  I can't believe you are singing at a wedding so soon after surgery.  I couldn't bear the thought of "real" clothes that soon.  Surely you won't have to endure pantyhose??? I am glad you are doing well.  You have a good Mommy!  Take care of yourself. Denise

Are you kidding? If I had to endure panty hose, I'd tell her I was just skipping the whole thing!!! This chick ain't sqeezing into hose yet!!! I have a very beautiful outfit that is VERY comfortable. SO...it shouldn't be too bad. lol  If only youy all knew of all the times I sang and never felt like it!!! haha I'm actually feeling pretty good this evening. Tomorrow will be even better, and it's not until late in the evening, so I still have over 24 hours to rest before actually singing. Love you all! Liz

I so happy that you're home with you family so they can help you and pamper you a bit. Congrats on doing well! I'm totally impressed that you're singing at your friend's wedding. Take it  easy afterward and have a wonderful time! : )

I am totally impressed that you're singing in a wedding this weekend, Liz.  I was a deadbeat my first weekend home from the hospital.  I think I slept through most of it.  Thank goodness for not having any kiddies at that time... I wish you luck with the wedding... I'm sure you'll sing beautifully.
