Yummy dinner for mushie stage

Once you are on stage 2 of the mushies plan you can have tilapia.  I cook some tonight on the Foreman grill with some olive oil and lemon pepper.  Yummers!  I bought the little individually wrapped and frozen filets at Sam's.  Each one has 23 grams of protein!  It cooked up to 2.7 oz- well within the range of my tummy.  I am full, happy, and 23 grams of protein to the good.  Oh, I cooked them from frozen- 3 minutes on a preheated Foreman.  Quick, easy, and nutritious. And to think you didn't invite your SISTA for dinner!!  Wench!!!  That sounds good!  But alas, my pouchy has been grouchy all day due to the CR@P I have been devouring over the past few days.  My HEAD is all screwy this week and I have been carbing out!  Needless to say my glucose levels are wacked out and you gotta love the dumping syndrome!! Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for my pouch and I to co-exist.  See guys - even this far out the POUCH STILL RULES!!!

OMG Ruth...I've been fighting the carb-monster this week too.  I think I've figured out where he hides though...so today I've vowed to completely avoid him.    I'm so glad I'm not the only one who fights this.  I was really beginning to worry...Wendy

Yeah, the thing with this sleeve is that I gotta cook!  Not much fun for one but it must be done.  However, this is the first day I have had to actually cook and not just nuke.  I will try chicken thighs tomorrow.  I think I will marinate them all day before grilling.  Yum! Denise PS if you are real nice, Ruth, maybe you could come to dinner sometime.  Let me know when you are back on the wagon or want me to kick you back on the wagon!

Denise, I like to take thighs and marinate them overnight in lime juice, taco seasoning and tequila!  Margarita chicken on the grill !  Yum!   John

try chicken (boneless and skinless) tomatoe, onion, and jal pepper, with just a little bit of salt in the crock-pot.  Cook all night and day.  Serve with some shredded cheese. It is like a chicken enchillada without the tortillia.

Ruth, you crack me up!  Yeah, that sounded kind of nasty!  However, a lot of what we talk about on the boards would sound really strange to outsiders.  How often do we talk about drinking problems?  Someone would think we needed AA instead of WW!
