Lucky, you'd be fine.  None of them are venomous-the only way they'd be able to kill you is if you got scared and ran into the street and got hit by a car.  The parrot and the turtle are actually more dangerous in terms of a bite-but the parrot is in a cage and you could probably outrun the turtle pretty easily.  (She is really grumpy though).

I so gotta come see you someday Hoodoo.  My next door neighbors years ago had a 9 ft albino burmese python and I used to go over to watch movies and lay on one of their 3 couches.  They would let "Powder" out and he would slither over and get up on the couch with me and cuddle.  It was awesome.  Sorry about your injuries though.  One thing I can say about sugar free chocolate syrup from Wal-mart though.  IT'S NASTY!!!!!

My biggest girl (who turned out to be a guy) died over the winter in the ice storm.  Bette was a 10 feet long retic who was one of my favorite snakes of all time-I won't keep anything over 10 feet since I have to handle them alone, but I would have kept Bette no matter how big she/he got.  I lost my other retics (all dwarves who would stay below 10 feet) as well and now I only keep ball pythons and a green tree python.  I love the GTP, and they really have a worse reputation than they deserve, they aren't a beginner snake, but they aren't that awful either.

I really want a dwarf burmeee and they can be had, but finding one from a reputable breeder so you don't end up with a 20 foot "dwarf" is an expensive prospect.
