I bought two big bottles of sugar free syrup at Jave Daves-and dropped on bottle on my foot in the driveway (the almond rocca). When I went to pull the bottle out of my foot (yeah, part of it stuck there) I cut my thumb to the bone.
While I was standing there cussing, the aroma hit me so I dipped my finger in the puddle and gave it a taste (it was good). Then I saw my neighbor standing out in her driveway watching me and I realized the bottles looked a lot like vodka......and THAT cracked me up.
I checked the bottle of coconut (it was fine) and resisted the urge to shout over "It's syrup...." because I don't really care much for those folks anyway.
So, now I have two new scars AND a racy reputation.

LOL-I have such a history with glass and my feet. I stopped a glass removal surgery mid surgery once because I was going to Mexico the next week, and by the time I got back I ended up in the hospital with half my foot pad removed. I still don't keep glass ice tea glasses in my house-it's plastic....and I DO wear shoes, but the stupid bottle hit the top of my foot and yeah, I was in flip flops.
Oh well, those people don't like me either-they pretty much stay away from me ever since I went strolling down the street with one of the pythons. What's funny (to me) is he was a small one-they'd have died if they'd seen Bette....LOL.

I just got to lick the almond roca-but it was tasty. I had the cocunut in some chocolate protein pudding tonight, and I was either really hungry or it was really really good. I'm going to go online and try to find smaller bottles though. Java Dave sells Torani brand....they had some wild flavors like cheesecake-I'm going to see if they are available in sugar free.
Would anyone like to go in halfsies on a few flavors if I can't find smaller bottles? I'm sure they'd pour up fine in another glass bottle.
