I am so psyched!
Oh believe me, my mouth watered all day yesterday from Cowboy's recipe! I don't have a surgery date yet. I meet with Dr Walton again on 6/27. I am hoping to turn that into a pre-op visit so I can schedule a date at that time. It is definitely a GREAT way to start a week, and a stressful one at that -- my son gets married on Friday and I still have a ton of things to do! Nancy
Congrats on your son's wedding! They are so much easier than the girls...I had 3!! His wedding was nothing. My son flew me out to CA to cook for his graduation celebration from Law School 2 weeks ago. He is 41. After seeing the pics, I was so embarrassed of myself that it made me more determined to come back and do this. I don't want my grand kids to always think....Grammy has two chins! I want to chase them down and tickle them to death!! My cardiologist is giving me rules before I can do anything. I have to see a pulmonary doctor first and take a stress test. I am just praying all that goes ok, so I can proceed.Oh and my A1C is 10 so that too needs to be down. To what I don't know yet.....The pulmonary dr is necessary because I totally stop breathing when I have surgery. The last stent had to be done with me awake because of it, so to have this surgery...I'd kinda like to be knocked out.
Good luck with all you have to do this week and relax!!! You are almost done.
