I GOT MY TIME FOR WEDNESDAY!!! :)

Hi my lovely friends!!!  I am SUPER excited!!! I got a phone call a little while ago with my surgery time and I GET TO GO FIRST!!! WOOHOO!  I had really hoped I'd get to be first for the day. I love when things go accordingly!!! I live an hour and a half away and have to be there at 5:30 in the AM, but I'm SO okay with it! I told her I'd be there at midnight if she wanted me to be!!! I'm not going to be able to sleep anyways! Anyhoo...just wanted to share my excitement of the day! You all be blessed and have a GLORIOUSLY amazing weekend!!! I'll be on that loser's bench before you know it!!!

Yippee Liz!!!  I'm sitting here with goose bumps knowing what you're feeling right now.  It is amazing to know that your time is scheduled and they'll be ready and waiting for you!  Please let me be among the first to tell you that we have the bench warmed and ready for you and we can't wait for you to be a loser too!    Of course we'll all keep you in our prayers and wish you a healthy & speedy recovery!  (I wish there was something besides an exclamation point to let you know how excited I am for you)!!!!!!!

Great!  It's quite a ride and I'm still enjoying the entire experience.  What a blessing we have now with our new tool and it's awesome what medical science has done for us all.  I feel like I have a chance at life again and can live and not be a spectator!!  You will too.  I'll be thinking about you.  I had ask to be first as well and was up until the day before and they called me to re-schedule for some reason and I was 3rd....that was fine too I just slept a little while longer.  It was all good.  They will treat you like a queen and it will be the best experience you've had with a hospital stay!!!  Have a good weekend!  Debbie

Congratulations my friend!  I had requested to be the first one up myself!  I wanted to get in there first so there wouldn't be any delays!  I'm so happy for you!  I'll be by to see you on Wednesday night to see how you're doing.  I hope you don't mind if I eat a few mushies while they're working on your banana!

Yeah, first is good!  I was first on my day!  You will love all the staff in the hospital. I was treated wonderfully.  We are keeping the bench warm for you. Denise

Congrats!  I'm so excited for you!!!  I don't know what the significance of being first is ut I'm mega happy that you got it!!!!

I wanted to be first because 1) get it over with quickly in the morning and not have to wait around while they finish other surgeries 2) get the IV in before you get too dehydrated they have trouble finding a vein (had a problem like this before!) 3) they will be on time for your case since you're first 4) faster they cut, faster you start to heal Ok, so kinda dumb reasons but I was just ready to get it over with!

Congrats!!!  You'll do great!  Dr. B is awesome!!!  I was 2nd on my surgery day and I told myself that was good because Dr. B was all warmed up then!  lol
