Oh, yeah!  My wife has started telling everyone (including me) that I'm being *****y... I'd be upset about that except she's right.  LOL

To my sparkly sister - hang in there gal!  I haven't lost that much since I had surgery 9 days ago but my body shape is changing.  It is subtle enough that I'm the only one who notices it but a little subtle here and a little subtle there ends up to other people noticing.  Have you measured yourself?  I read about a lot of people where the scale doesn't move but the inches are going away.  Maybe this might apply to you?  It's another good way to calculate success! Maybe you're not eating enough calories.  I've used an online tracker before too and it's great!  I loved it.  That was what helped me on my pre-op diet.  But then, I was consistently eating between 1,000-1,200 calories a day.  But I was losing well.  Maybe that's where you need to be? As my brilliant sister just said, there is no way your body can hang on to the weight with as few calories as you're taking in.  It will move!  Keep a happy, sparkly, glittery attitude and you'll make it through this stall.  I say, go put on those Converse and stand in the sun.   The brilliant rainbow will make you forget your troubles! Cindy, keep your chin up  Take a look back at your jouney up to this point and count all the little successes.  There are weeks when my scale does not move either, but when you add it all together, the loss is there.  I too have continued to lose inches, even when the scale doesn't budge.  Just keep working the plan and getting your fluids in.  It won't be long before your body does come out of the shock of what you just put it through and you will begin to lose again!  I have faith in you SISTA!  Wendy

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! To everyone *****plied. I really needed to hear that this is normal. At my 2 wk appointment I asked Dr. B about it and he said it really isn't that common. (huh???) My frustration is because I've always had trouble loosing weight - even on the pre-op diet. Ok, I know, I'm impatient. I just want to be in Onderland and the stupid scale and my body are teasing me. I'm headed to the fridge for water and then lacing up my sparkly shoes and going outside (thanks for the idea Kim). Those shoes always make me feel good and give me power. I'm ready to kick some butt..... BTW, everyone here is awesome and I don't know how anyone could take this journey without support like this. Again, thank you so much! Cindy

I agree Cindy.  I cant imagine this journey without you guys.  I am sure I will be crying in my beer soon.  I think I will be the world's slowest loser.  I have always lost slowly. Hang in there! Denise

Cindy, Try mixing your menu's up a bit. Are you getting at least 64 oz of fluids daily? If all else fails , call Jessica and tell her your concerns. You did not waste your money. It will happen. Also if you are weighing every day, don't do that. I weigh once a week only. Sometimes if you eat too little your body will try to hold on to that. I know that it is easier said than done, but be patient, it will come off.(((((HUGS)))))

I don't know a thing about  this, as I haven't done it yet, BUT..... if I had lost 34 lbs in 4 weeks. I'd be high 5'n the mailman or anyone else who came my way! It sounds to me like you are doing just fine. Like they are saying below....hang in there, it will catch up. Since I haven't done the surgery yet, but am leaning towards the sleeve....I will just be a cheerleader on the side for you. I have made many mistakes in life, but I don't think this could be a mistake for any of us....To get a chance to live longer is a bargan at that price!!  Remember....Champions are not those who always win, but those who never give up!
