New guy to the Oklahoma forum!
Hello! Just peeking into this forum since I'm one of Dr. B's Patients from Weightwise. I'm fairly new to the whole ordeal but have been a loyal fan of the RnY boards for sometime now. I've had such a terrific response from people from the Oklahoma area.
I am however not living in Oklahoma, I live in the US Virgin Islands, (I'm just getting my stuff done in Edmond), I have lived in the Tulsa area for a really long time and am a grad from OU!
There are a couple of pics on my profile and those are my heavy pics. Yes, those are my pre-op pics (I haven't had my surgery yet...in about a month), I'm one of those people who canhide an extra hundred pounds really easy. (during my weigh in at my local Doc, she mentioned that she had no idea where I kept my weight...but I told her that the local buffets are scared to let me through the door.)
So hey, I eat to feed the belly....and I can go on an atkin's diet with zero chating then lose the weight then look at pasta or eat a bit of the dark chocolate, then BOOM, magically the pounds come back.... So I feel great, I don't feel like I'm not already sexy or anything like that..I'm doing this to break the cycle of addiction to food and to be as healthy as i can.
So there ya go....I'm just a good loving human being that loves all of those sugar coated stuff that hostess makes.....lol... I'm a person who believes in empowering people around him just as people have done for me. You may feel as though some of my posts are a bit sassy, but hey, life is short and I like to interject a bit of my own spicy bit of flavor in the discussion.
I look forward to talking to several of you as my time gets closer to surgery. And just think....for those of you who shall become my friend....you'll always know somebody in the Islands you can come visit! hehe! Have a great day!

I'm with Nickel on this one, we are soooo about to be best friends. lol I looked at your profile and had to put a little note with some of your pics. You wear your 270lbs so much better than I. If one of these docs would take some of the stuff in my butt and thighs and "strategically" place it somewhere else it would answer another of my wishes. LOL Anywho, welcome to the Ok board and get ready to roll (some of us roll better than others, ha ha). We are a pretty funny bunch. Joni
