6 week checkup?
diana - shut it missy! dr w will check things and see if something needs tweaked. there is never any admonition or i told you so's....
they will check your incision sites, poke on your tummy a little bit, talk to you. i think they will hold additional blood work for a few more weeks, but then the protocol keeps changing and i can't keep up!
do you see jessica tomorrow as well? that may be where you get some questions if so....be sure to have your journal ready!! LOL
keep on keeping on - we all lose at different rates!! it is not a one size fits all kind of program - so quit worrying yourself hon!!

They decided not to have you visit w/ your dietiician at the 6 week post-op anymore. You only get to see them at your 2 week class and then I will see her at a class in July. I guess they were getting too busy. I'll see if I'm able to call Jessica though, because I need help!!! Whine, whine..... I'm still the same darned weight from when I gained weight last weekend! For a whole week now. I'm just frustrated. I think I'm going to try the bike riding thing. Thanks for the info by the way. I called her and left a msg.
Liz, I think that's great that you joined curves! I've heard they have a great program!
Kim, I've only lost 34 lbs, including the 12 pre-op. I eat about 1000 calories a day. Maybe too much? My hubby thinks I don't get enough protein, but I eat a lot more protein than I ever used to. I have been feeling a little weak, like I've lost some steam lately. Maybe he's right. I know I don't get enought liquids in, so that could be some of it.
Robin, I missed our walk tonight! Hope you're feeling better and see you Wednsday.
Thanks everyone for your posts and encouragement. I love this group and how it makes our weight loss journeys a little easier and a bit more special.
I'll post after my appt tomorrow!
