Amy, I think you're forgetting that you FIT in your dream bathing suit!! I also don't think you look like you THINK you look. What I see is a run of the mill, everyday, imperfect like everyone else female body. We all have our issues or parts that we hate.  If I may be so bold (and truely with mucho love and respect) build a bridge, get over it, and get happy. You may not look how you wish you did, but you sure as hell don't look like **** Hugs, Daph

Amy, congratulations on your success to this point! What you have accomplished is major!!! You look great in the bathing suit! Remember, our main goal is to be healthier than we were before ... and also remember model photos are photo-shopped and air brushed. ; )

I'm so proud for you and *thank you* for all the encouraging words you have posted here! I hope you have enjoyed a wonderful weekend, too!

Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly

Amy where is that spicey girl I met at Olive Garden? Girl you look good! Even if you dont see your body as perfect you have to see the Huge change you have had! You need to put that swimsuit on hold your head high and strut your stuff! think possitive! Could you have even gotten the suit on last year? Sweetie you look alot better than some of the college student that are at the pool here at the apts. Besides, if I can put my big tooshie in a suit and trot down to the pool and not think twice about it then you can too.

Hey I will go swimming with both of ya.  I went for the first time in a LONG time yesterday and it felt GREAT.  Was still a little cold but it was all good.  And Amy you are no supermodel but then do you really want to BE a supermodel?  They are all so self centered and stuck up on themselves.  You arent that type of person.  You are better.  Be proud of what you have accomplished hun.

Dan

I dont want to be a supermodel but nice boobies and thighs would be so nice, I would keep the extra stomach stuff for good boobies and thighs!

Ok, I hear ya-we have this vision of what we'll look like at a certain weight, and the reality is usually different unless you can afford plastics.  I'd like some awesome boobies and a tummy tuck too-but not nearly bad enougn to part with the cash.  I'm not taking pictures for anyone, and as soon as I am in the water, snorkeling , I forget all about how I LOOK-who cares?  I can move and not run out of breath.

Try focusing on how your body moves now, how it feels with the water slipping over you (can you tell I love love love the water?)  As for the man thing, take it from someone who has been to a few rodeos-anyone who is caught up in how you look or don't look, isn't worth bringing around you or your children.  Any man whose ego depends on having a trophy chick to "show off" requires far too much effort than I'm willing to give....LOL.  If the "look" is achieved then you will be given another task to make him feel better.  Heck, I have enough trouble working on my own ego, let alone someone else's.

Sadly, in our society we ladies have about 10 minutes of total babealiciousness-soemtime around 16 or 17.  Trying to compete or get that hot feelng back isn't worth your time honey.  Value yourself for all your talent and skill and beauty, not just a suit size or thighs.  THAT is true hotness.
