Well, after a little over 2 years, I have officially been RIF'd (new word to me - apparently means Reduction in Force). I am on a job hunt big time now. I have a 2nd interview on Monday (which would be good - they officially eliminated my position on Friday, so getting back to work soon would be GREAT). Please wish me luck and keep me in your thoughts. I've only got about a month before the severence package is no more.

Robin - best of luck at your second interview. I'm in telecom and we are constantly having "re-orgs" which means every few months I hold my breath and pray I don't get called into a conference room! What kind of work do you do? Maybe you can do some networking on here just incase something falls through with the second interview.
