Feeling Blessed and Stall Broken!
I have finally broken through my weight loss stall!!! Hip Hip Hooray! I thought it might never happen. I had contacted my dietician and she suggested upping my daily caloric intake... and by golly, it worked. : ) I'm feeling good and keeping up with my exercise. I'm also feeling really blessed in other ways!
1) I fell/crashed while riding the bike yesterday, but luckily my body protected the bike from any harm. ; ) I was actually fine and didn't even have any road rash to show off to family or friends ... dog gone it! I was also happy at my age not to have broken a hip! And, I was glad that I bought Deb's bike (bless her for getting me started on biking for exercise!) so if it had been scratched, I wouldn't worry nearly as much.
2) I'm also feeling blessed to have family at home and friends here that are so supportive and understanding.
3) I'm also thankful to live in this state/area where there are so many excellent weight loss programs and surgeons that can offer us so much. All areas of this state have excellent programs close to home and many to choose from ... so the help we need is nearby and accessible.
4) I'm finally able to get warm most of the time, so I'm not forever freezing!
I also hope everyone is having a great weekend! I'm getting ready to go on another bike ride ... and then come home and *walk away some pounds* with Leslie Sansone on DVD.
Blessings to everyone!

Kim, I thought I had the first fat in history that wouldn't shrink no matter what! Being stalled so soon had me thinking that nothing would get this to shrink and that it was hot glued on! I got all kinds of depressed and cranky. : ( I hope I deal with it much better if it happens again. See my reply to Robyn to see my thoughts on why I stalled.
Thanks Denise! It really had me wondering if I had a case of *permanent fat*! And, evidently last night training wheels would have saved me from my big crash. I wasn't hurt physically ... and my body protected the bike from hitting the pavement and grass first. However, my pride took a near fatal blow! ; )
Oh my gosh, bless your heart, you are gonna love those mushies!!! Nothing has ever tasted so good! : )
Edited to correct Denise's name!!!!!

I bet you're gonna love biking! It's not boring like the treadmill. ; ) I'm up to biking for 45 minutes and about 5 miles at a time. We try to do it every evening, but some evenings we miss...maybe once a week. Enjoy! : )
Also, I think my stall was due to not eating enough...some days barely 400 calories ... just wasn't hungry and only wanted healthy stuff (I know, shock of all shocks!!!), plus I'm 52 and had enough metabolism slowing and weight gain causing lupus drugs to float a battleship! I hope it's a good long while before I hit another one. It made me gripey, moody, and depressed ... and I hate being like that!
I hope you had a great weekend and I've got you in my prayers for your job!
