WeightWise this Week **EDIT ADDED**

Just a friendly reminder:   WeightWise events scheduled for this week: Tuesday, June 3 - 6:00 pm  Thursday, June 5 - 6:00 pm Dr Panchall will be presenting the program on Plastics this month.  Plastics is a huge topic in WLS and both Panchall and Sawan are doing a lot of emphasis on WLS patients after their weightloss.   Be sure to arrive a little earlier - there is always SRO for this type of speaker.  If you need directions, you can go directly to www.weightwise.com or ask any of us WW group and we'll get you pointed in the right direction. I'll be there Thrusday.... Ruth I need to ask you a question.  I am applying for through Carecredit and I am unable to locate Weight Wise.  Kathy told me it would be under Dr. Walton's name so I put in Gregory Walton and there was no hit.  I put in Weight Wise and there was no hit.  Do you have an suggestions to what I may be doing wrong to located?  Robin

Robin, I'm not Ruth, but I also applied for Care Credit.  He's located under Foundation Bariatric Surgery in Oklahoma City.  For some reason his name isn't in there and it's not listed as Edmond.  Hope that helps!

Girls, I still can find anything, so I must be doing it wrong.  I found Dr. Gary Guidry with Foundation Bariatric Affiliates but nothing else....  What am I doing wrong?

I don't think I used a doctor's name at all, Robin.  I just put it under Foundation Bariatric of Oklahoma City.  When I went for my pre-op, they took me downstairs to the hospital and they put in their info, ran my care credit card and then typed in the terms of the financing.  If I'm not mistaken, Foundation Bariatric gets the money and then they pay the doctor out of that. 

I used care credit for my surgery with Dr Brousard. They took care of it down stairs at the weight wise hostpital. It is there some were but is new. I think I was the first patient for them, at least that is what the said. It did work though.  Good luck.   Carrie

If I recall, don't use a doctors name.  Weirdly - Gary Guidry isn't even an MD he is an RN - he is the top guy in the Bariatrics affiliate. I would find anything with the Foundation Bariatric or Foundation Surgery name.  The two are actually separate entities but they should be able to link them.  Some of the other names that you might be able to link are:  Foundation Healthcare Network, Foundation Bariatric Hospital, etc.   If you are still having issues, I would call MMS (936-8200) and ask for Jessica Oster.  I know at one point she was handling the financing side of things for WW (at least when I left).  She is a great girl and should be able to point you in the right direction.  Or you can also contact your patient advocate. Keep poking around for anything under Foundation and they should be able to link it eventually. R

I never found Weight Wise or the doctors on Care Credit either.  i called customer service and they assured me if I got the flyer at the office then they were part of the network.  I did indeed use Care Credit for my surgery.  They run your card downstairs in the hospital.  You will get the 11.9% interest for financing longer than 36 months. Thanks everyone... I will just call them tomorrow and let them know my problem loggin on and see if they can't just do it from there.....  You guys are GREAT!!!!  Like you all didn't know that already!????
