Incisions

Question: How will I know when they're healed enough to swim or take a bath? It's hot and I want to float in the pool!!! I'm almost 3 weeks out now. Some dermabond has loosened, but still have a lot hanging tight. Man, that stuff's tough. Any thoughts? Thanks! Cindy

I think I read something about 3 weeks but don't quote me.  Better check with WW.  I'm interested in the answer too since we have a hot tub.

You have to wait until it all sloughs off. You can get an infection if you go on with your dermabond stuff still attached. Don't ru****!

I'll bet that dermabond sticks to me forever!  But that's ok.  I can wait it out! Sparkly Kim isn't so skinny yet but I'm working on it.  I can feel the weight falling off me as as sick here typing!  Ha!  I wish!

Are you going to Niagara Falls?

Yes, Headed to Niagara Falls. My mom is from up that way, so I've been. Looooong time ago. Been trying to get my family there for years, but it's such a long way to drive. So we're flying and making a quick trip of it. Staying on the Canadian side at the Embassy Suites Falls View. Weather up there is high of mid 70's. Can't wait! Too dang hot here already. I was sweatin bringing in groceries.

Love Niagara Falls - it's beautiful!  And the Canadian side is much more scenic than the American side.  Have fun!  Buy yourself something sparkly!

Somebody here is, but not me! Tomorrow is my 23rd wedding anniversary and Monday we'll be cleaning out the storage building. Tuesday and Wednesday I'll be at my house in Western Oklahoma. I'll be back in Edmond Wednesday night or Thursday morning. Saturday I sit my National Board exam and then drive to Enid to take my MIL to Anthony Kansas returning on the following Monday. On the 10th, it's back to Western Oklahoma for probate of mom's will on Thursday.*sigh* Maybe I'll get to have some fun later in the month before I start working the second session of Summer School in July. I took June off so that I could work on studying for my tests and do general running around now that school is FINALLY out.
