Glitter Gal has landed - home on and the Loser's Bench!
Hooray Kim! I'm so happy for you!
Yesterday was the first time I actually got in all 64 ozs. of fluids. It isn't easy for me!
Rest and walk. The left side of my abdomen/lower chest hurt worst, too. My nurse told me that everyone that had laprascopic WLS of any type always said the left side hurt the worst.
I hope you feel better and better every single hour! : )
Kim, I've usually averaged about 32 - 40 ozs. of fluid per day (not counting protein drinks or shakes). I've gradually been increasing, but it was just hard to keep forcing it when I didn't feel thirsty. I've never noticed any signs on myself of becoming dehydrated ... or close. But, I'm thinking that not getting in 64 ozs. daily may have helped slow my weight loss and encouraged my stall. Just a guess though!I'm really working on more fluids every day now... especially just plain water.
I emailed my nutritionist yesterday about my stall and told her my daily intake averages. She encouraged me to up my calories since I have a hard time even getting up to 700 calories per day. She'd like me to get 850 - 1000 to prevent going into starvation mode and metabolism slowing to a screeching halt.
I don't have any physical problems eating or drinking, I just get full so easily and don't always feel like drinking or eating more. Believe it or not, eating has turned into quite the chore and a necessity .... rather than a big focus of my daily life! Yes, I'm totally in shock about that. ; )
