You all are going to think I'm crazy. Here goes anyway. I think my head is shrinking. Ok...no smart a** comments..... We went motorcycle riding this week and my helmet slides around on my head. Didn't do that before surgery 2 weeks ago. I haven't started loosing hair, so that's not it. Am I loosing weight in my head? Lord help me....My family thinks this is hilarious. Cindy

Wow!  That's a strange problem.  I wish I knew what the answer is.  I could insert a joke about fat-heads or something here but that would be against the regulations of the sparkly sisterhood.  How could you  lose weight in your head?

I was warned here on the boards before my surgery that not only would my shoes be too big, but that any fitted hats I had would also soon be too large.  I guess a helmet would be essentially the same thing.  I never realized my head was fat, too...but I have noticed my caps are sliding around. I have to keep reminding myself that I knew everything I owned was going to get too big, and I knew that I wouldn't be able to finish two scrambled eggs at a time, and I knew that there would be some discomfort along the way, but I went ahead anyway.  I am still glad I did it, even if my pants look like I crawled out of a clown car and my belt is on the last notch...  Here's hoping you can add some padding to your helmet to keep it steady.  I'm not a biker, but I'm sure that would be a lot more expensive to replace than a fitted ball cap! Clown pants!  That's hysterical!  Enjoy those clown pants - at one time you filled them out.  It's a blessing they are too big now!

Even my boss commented on them today... they look like something Harpo Marx might have worn... remember how he would keep pulling stuff out of his pockets?  That's what I feel like. Luckily, I have a couple more sizes in my closet - just have to get them out and laundered and I'll be good to go for a while longer. Just you wait - your time is coming fast... JB

I've definitely noticed it with shoes and rings too. I don't wear hats often and hadn't thought about my helmet. It made my DH and friends laugh because the wind kept pushing it back on my head like a tilted back baseball cap and I didn't even notice. I think I'll just get some sparkly doo-rags to fill the gap.

Oooohhh!  Sparkly doo-rags!  I might wear one of those! I have quite a few rings.  I know that's gonna be weird when they don't fit!  Can't wait!

Cindy, Can't say I have noticed any weight loss in my head other than the loss of hair!!!!  I have noticed that my rings are too big and the shoes I wear for work (Dansko's) are WAY too big on me now.  Oh then, let's not even talk about my scrubs.  I have people waiting for them to fall down.  I have gone from a 5x to a way too big 3x!  I am waiting until I can get into a regular XL before getting new ones.  I have to stop every once and awhile and retie them so they won't fall!  Congrats on the loss, keep it up! Michelle

I love the idea of a sparkly doo-rag! The visual  is great!!! Maybe we could all get one and wear them to a meeting some time soon! ; )
