Intro
Did you just stop using it or did you get another sleep study? I don't have issues when I nap anymore...no snoring....no waking up coughing....(coughing for air) I quit wearing my cpap as it is costing me 45.00 a month with my new insurance and I wanted to see if I could sleep well without it. Just curious. They said I had mild sleep apnea and my machine was set on a 4. Is it dangerous to stop using it now that I have lost 90 plus pounds??? I hate the thought of another sleep study....uuuggghhh!
ONEDERLAND!!!! FINALLY!!!! WHOOOO HOOOOO!
Diana - looks like nobody answered your question! My CPAP is auto adjusting and has a smart card in it. It monitors how much you're needing the machine to help you. I just send in the card 2 weeks after surgery and they check it out. I hope to be off it quickly. It's not terrible and I do feel better but I'm hoping that I can breathe properly on my own with weight loss. I think you're probably fine without it after a 90 pound loss. Although I know that some skinny people can have sleep apnea. Good luck!
