OKC group- meet June 18?

The date works for me...the place...I don't care, any place will do. (I can eat like a lab rat wherever I go - LOL!!)

Anna - I'm never going to live that one down am I?  Man!  Some thought I should just keep to myself.  Some day I'll learn!  Does it make you feel any better to know that I'll be a lab rat by then too?

LOL -  And you'll be on mushies!!! And no, I don't think you should keep to yourself, I like hearing what you have to say!  My husband says I eat like a mouse...just wait till I am done with him..I am planning of wheeling him into the surgery suite myself (or as Ruth says, shove him)....

I'll definitely try to be there! I'll be able to eat soft foods, too ... and not even have to bring a blender with me! ; )

Works for me!  Where are we going to eat?  Not that it really matters because I'll be a mushie queen then. 

I think I can make it that night.  Golden Corral is a great choice, and a central location if we go to the one on I-40 or I-240.  I got sick the night of the last get together, so I'm looking forward to visiting with everyone!

Can anyone come? I haven't had surgery yet but am trying to lose 15 lbs so I can. It would be nice to eat with people who understand what I'm doing.

of course anyone can com!!!  the more the merrier!!  if you can handle a bunch of craziness, and don't mind joining in!!  we'll finalize where pretty soon but yep please come!! 

I am looking forward to meeting you!  I know what you mean about eating with people who understand what you're doing.  I was on the post-op liquids at Easter when we all went to Grandma's house!!! wooo hooo.  I was worried about it a little but everyone was so involved in their own eating they really didn't notice.  I was glad.  I hadn't told any of them except one sister in law.  I haven't seen anyone since except my mother-in-law and I guess she didn't notice or didn't say anything.  Oh well, I did it for me not them.  It is the best thing I've done for myself ever.  I feel better than I have in years and would do it all over again in a New York minute!  Debbie
