My Newest WOW Moment(s)
Well this weekend I went on a trip to Dallas for a card tournament for a collectible card game I play. It was held inside the Fort Worth Convention Center. At lunch time we had to walk about a mile and a half ONE WAY to eat lunch since nothing was close and we didnt want to have to pay $7 again to park in the garage. I walked the entire way in full stride, never breaking a sweat or getting winded. I just about teared up. A buddy of mine from Dallas noticed and commented and I said bro a year ago I couldnt have even THOUGHT of doing this much walking. I felt GREAT. I thank God for giving me this gift and my new life post op. I have not felt this full of energy in years and its kinda overwhelming.
Also almost by accident (she messaged me) I met someone new online. We have been dating for about a month now. Things are going great. I just got home from going to see her and her 2 boys. The boys were just all over me playing with me and laughing. We play boxed and raced toy cars on the floor. I was choked up when her 4 year old asked me to tuck him in and give him a kiss goodnight. Little things like that are truly God's work.
Just thought I would share. I am pretty tired from the trip down and back from Dallas so I am going to crash out. Will talk with everyone tomorrow. Have a great week. (Also new pics coming very soon)
WTG Dan! You rock!! I can't imagine walking 3 miles (mile and a half there and back) I was in Salt Lake City about 2 months ago and had to walk about a mile from the hotel to the company we were having a meeting with, I was out of breath and when I stopped walking I thought my knees were going to give out my legs were shaking so much! Can't wait to see your new pics.

I just have to tell you congrats on the wow....It sure does feel good being able to walk without the breaking of a sweat and all that. When I was 6 months out I took my kids on a trip and one of the places we went we park on the roof parking....after we had been walking the pier all day we went to get in the elevator but there was too many people so the kids all started running up the stairs. I decided to follow and I couldnt believe it when I made it to the top without being out of breath. (It was only 4 floors, but it still felt good). The greatest thing you will notice is everytime you go and do something, it gets easier and easier to do things...enjoy it.
Also enjoy your relationship. Kids are the greatest....sometimes a little overrated...but great.
Glad you had a great weekend.
