WHAT THE HECK

I had an open VBG many years ago and when I woke up after surgery I felt like someone had been jumping up and down on my stomach.  I went back to work after being off for three weeks and it put pressure on my incision to sit at my desk all day.  I can't remember now if I did half days or full days.  Laproscopic surgery was a little less painful.  I was told that I might have to have open surgery if it couldn't be done laproscopically.  They always want to prepare you for that possibility.
