Ketosis
I think I finally hit it! I was absolutely giddy all day today, which was a little awkward seeing as how we had to tour a mortuary for my sociology class. We were talking about the process of embalming and I kept giggling at random things. There is also this strange sweet odor that I'm giving off, and it's a little over powering, it gives me a headache lol. Just thought you guys would like to know I've gotten out of the depressed dump for one day at least.
Michelle, I'm so happy you're feeling better! I can't believe all you've been doing so quickly after surgery .... I'd have been crying, too! I hope your schedule is letting your get more rest now. I think I got all my crying out that one crazy day about a week before my surgery. Since then, I've been happy .... or in ketosis, since! ; )
Oh yeah, it puts you in a state of euphoria, which is a big complicated word for you couldn't be happier lol. Let's see how long the giddy lasts. My schedule has sorta let me chill a little bit, if you could call it that. I have class all this week, but it's from 8 to 5 and all I do is sit and take notes, so it's not really stressful, just really really cold. If I hadn't had surgery I wouldn't believe it, but I spent all day today wrapped up in a double layered fleece blanket, with a hoodie, sweat pants, and tennis shoes on. I almost wanted to get a pair of gloves because every time I took my hand out form underneath the blanket to write notes I thought my fingers were going to fall off. I was the only cold one in the room...There's 55 of us in the class lol. People kept looking at me funny. I'm getting that a lot lately, oh well. Hmmm... I wonder which will win out, the mood swings of the ketosis lol. Only time will tell.
