I just got mine yesterday, June 2, I have been a avid reader of the forum but not too much of a talker, but now I have something to talk about. I was so happy to get a date, I almost cried.

Good for you too!!  I understand the emotion.  I know I will bawl once my date is finally set in stone and I have my pre-op appt.

Congrats to you both. I confess..when I read the title of this I thought, "Wow! a hot date!" LOL

Thank you all.I have been a reader too. I did had a stomach  stapleing in 1982'  I have gained a lot of weight the last few years and have developed high blood pressure . I am on 3 blood pressure meds 3 times a day. This has been a godsend and I will tow the line. I want to enjoy my life again.  I plan on giving it  I i have and then some,Of course as surgery draws closer I am getting a little scared. I have a very supportive husband , anytime I went on a diet hewould when i started walking he did , and he has no weight problems he has just always tried to be helpful and supportive , whatever I wanted he wants. okiewolf , thats the truth , he raised my kids and loves them as his he has a big heart , we`ve been togeather 22 years and I `ve loved every miniute of it, Okie , you can be anything you want to be . And to be honest he inspires me too . God Bless ,Debra
