Dr. Gorospe Support Group Meeting

Is anyone going to the meeting tonight at Bailey's?  I was thinking of going but was curious to see if anyone else was going tonight.

I will be there probably wont stay the entire time since the chairs are hell on the behind, lol.

I am having mine done at WW but I live in Tulsa, can anyone go to your meetings?   Morg

I am sure anyone can come in as a visitor.  If you live in Tulsa you should come to the meet, greet, and eat we have once a month.  Someone should be posting details soon for the May get together.  It is very informal and lots of fun.

I'll be there tonight.  Like Dan I don't think I'll stay for the whole thing.  I've been gone since 7am this morning and would like to get home at a decent hour and relax a little bit rather than just going to bed.  Can't wait to see if I recognize Dan this month or not :P

Since I go for 6 mo appt tomorrow and the cost of gas, can't see making 2 trips in 2 days.  I agree with Dan, chairs really hard on the behind!

Yeah I didnt end up making it tonight, friend needed some support.  Plus i have to go to Collinsville tomorrow anyways and like she just said above, the cost of gas makes it one trip too many to be taking.

Dr. Kirk was the speaker at the meeting last night.  For those of you who didn't go (or are pre-op and didn't go) they announced that they are going to start including bone density scans as part of your testing.  Also they are thinking about making follow ups in 3 month intervals.

I didn't get to go either.  I really wish I could have now.  I love Dr. Kirk.
