Another complaint, grrr

I'm telling you guys, I'm not normally this grumpy or complainy, but seriously, this is getting old lol. I almost passed out walking up the stairs going to my final today. And I've been doing everything they told me to do out of the hospital. So I email Jess, my dietician, and asked for her help. So she told me to take my B12, and go get some protein shakes. So I did, it almost wasn't very fun, but I went to walmart and got a bunch of Atkins Advantage shakes and Low Carb Slim Fast, and a whole crap load of jello because I just wanted some jello lol. I wasn't sure if food stamps would cover the protein shakes since they were in the pharmacy, but they did, so if I hadn't had to buy lightbulbs since my bathroom light went kaput, I wouldn't have had to pay anything for 6 packs of shakes and about a mile of jello. So now I'm waiting for them all to chill in the fridge, and hopefully I will be happier and a little more cheerful tomorrow. And just so everyone knows.....GET READY..... My finals are over!!!!!!!! So I get to relax all weekend long, and then it's back into the classroom all next week, then I finally get to have my recuperation days lol, two weeks after the surgery is over. Jess wasn't too happy to hear that either lol, but oh well, as long as I get some recuperation time it's all good...right?

You have a ton going on so it is no wonder that you are feeling stressed and grumpy.  The lack of calories means lack of energy.  This is temporary.  The shakes will help because they are packed full of protien and vitamins.  I know you are glad the finals are over.  I have a test on Tuesday I am studying for and then the final term paper.  yuck.  I'm glad to know that it is possible to do school and the sleeve at the same time even if it is really hard because that is what I will be doing.

I hope you like those shakes. I hated them. They were too sweet, and I never used them. I do know that the pharmacy doesn't take returns on products like those (learned that the hard way). I use the Unjury Vanilla and Chocolate flavors and make my own. They're not so sweet, and I can blend fresh fruit and my calcium up in there and they're really yummy. I make mine in my bullet, but you could make them in anything, I think. Hang in there. I think it's mostly the finals talking. Rest and sleep this weekend. Remember, you only have one chance to heal, so make it good!

Yeah, I bought a bunch of them, and they are pretty good, but they should take the Mocha Shake from Atkins off the list, lol. It has caffiene, and since I haven't had caffiene in almost three months, I'm all jumpy and jittery, so no more of those for me. but I have been feeling so much better since I got some protein in me, i'm not so wobbly and faint, but maybe it's because I haven't really done anything today either, who knows, but I'm not going to complain either way.
