I find that I am cold all the time now...havent ran my AC yet at all....I actually wear socks to bed now and I truly hate socks...I own like only 3 pairs because I usually refuse to wear them.... I was actually wearing a sweater earlier tonight, and I know its warm outside because the kids are all sweaty.  I do love not sweating all the dang time now and feeling like a stuck pig.

I was VERY warm natured, just not as much so now.  My head still sweats a little when I wear a hat (like i ever take one off) but like John said I can do stuff now without breaking a sweat or feeling like my lungs are going to explode.  Yea to energy!!!

I always was cold before. I get cold quickly and easily....occasionally, I'm warmer but that's usually after eating something warm. I've had a hysterectomy, too, and I don't take hormones because those didn't help. Glittergal, you're making me think of the song, "One Hot Mama" by Trace Adkins....he's so hot himself!

Don't worry, you'll be freezing your hiney off in no time at all!! For me it has been a major issue, I am ok outdoors, even with a little breeze, now that the weather is warming up, but it is air conditioning that just does me in...at work, some of the hot blooded people I work with set the a/c at 71-72 degrees and I have a heater going and sweater on hand. I cannot drin**** cold water, I don't dare eat a popsicle...when I get off work I sit in my hot car for a few minutes and just get warmed up - feels sooooo good. The good thing is that on really warm days I don't get hot like I would have a year ago, so I am actually looking forward to summer. And no sweating at all.  Anna

Yes - as your body adjusts to the weight loss - I guess we lose our extra padding that we've carried around therefore losing our extra "blanket"  !!  YES - I'M COLD ALL THE TIME !!    Very unusual for me.
  • Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose.  Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email.  I'll answer it as soon as possible.

I'm cold most of the time now! I'm freezing while hubby is complaining that it's too hot in the house. This is a first for us because it was always the other way around! Pick out a pretty new sweater because you're gonna want one soon! ; )
Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly
