What's in the bag?

Get a body pillow for after surgery to stick behind your back in a chair, etc. Loved mine!

Basically I just brought all my bathroom items, a robe is important for when you go walking, and I brought my own slipper socks for walking, chapstick, I had magazines, they have free movies you can order ( my DH watched em, I kept falling asleep ) a change of clothes and undergarments, and a nightgown ( i brought 2 one gown, one pj's ) My own blanket and two pillows! I think the main thing is the robe so your covered when doing your walking..... Good luck!!!!!!!

forgot to mention this on my first reply, I had a five hour long car ride home, and in the middle of it I had to stop and buy a blanket b/c I was freezing.  So i would take a blanket.  Even if you dont need it, its better to have it case you do.
