I DID IT! For those of you who know me, I have DIVESTED myself of several really long weeks of e-mails that I had not been able to delete before. Off both my Outlook and my dear Blackberry. It is a TOTALLY new day! I have cut the ties and strings and knots in my tummy and wiped my hands clean of the problem! I just needed to share this with my walking buddies! I love you guys - thank you for reminding me that I am WORTH more than what I was getting! You too SULTAN DAN!!! You helped more than you could ever know!!

Thanks gang. I love you guys and I appreciate all you do for me each and every day. You make the days more tolerable! I think it took me a few weeks to understand that I AM IMPORTANT and I AM WORTH IT!! I think the old view of myself came crashing in around me and kicked up the old feelings of worthlessness. All I can say is that I am no longer going to just accept something because I don't want to make a fuss. I am going to go after what I want and hope that it becomes what I need. But I am NOT going to beg to be something for someone when it is not worth it! I refuse to live my life that way any longer! I think I am going to take some of my own advice and make a list: MY LIST: I will not tolerate being treated like a 2nd rate person! I am WORTH something!! I will not tolerate being used and thrown away! No one else would either! I will not fall in love so quickly because I think this is "IT"!! Enough said! I WILL give myself time to get to know someone before trusting them with my heart! Forget about trusting them with my family or friends either! I WILL make sure that I trust and believe in someone before I allow them to determine any aspect of my life! I WILL make sure that whomever I "date" is honorable and trustworthy! I WILL make my friends approve of whomever I "date" because I trust my friends to ensure that I am not jumping the gun! Anymore things I need to add to my list sista's???? I am sure at least ONE of my sista's has some more wisdom to add to my list!! I can't wait to hear from you ALL......and Sultan Dan as well. MMMWWWAAAHHH!!!

"I will not settle simply because I don't think I can do better" I fell into this one myself many times, given that us obese people go on believing that we should be thankful to get what we get! This is a tough one to get over, at least for me....I think it's hard to give ourselves a different image when we have this large person control our lives and minds. - You did good!!
