I can't exactly explain how, but somehow after four months of working towards surgery, it actually snuck up on me before I realized it... I'm due at the hospital in 9 hours and set for surgery in 11 hours. I can't thank all of you you enough for all your support over these months. I'm looking forward to being back online by Tuesday to start posting updates. For those of you on the pre-op diet - all I can say is keep following the plan. It sucks, but if you keep the goal in mind and keep on pushing forward you'll be packing for the hospital in no time. I've learned something this week that I would like to share with everyone before I head off to bed... God always has a plan for our lives - he just doesn't feel that we need to advised beforehand what it is. Thanks again, and I'll see you right back here on Tuesday! John

My surgery is in june so you sure are right it does creep up fast. . Enough of that I will pray for your cravings also. best wishes on a new start to a smaller healthier you! Best of luck Karla

I love that quote!!! I struggle so much with just trusting God. You are going to do great with your surgery and can't wait to see you post during recovery. Hearing how others recover really helps us newbies! :)
