This really IS a support group!

I don't know what I would do without this board.  I cannot get over how much encouragement and support I feel from people I didn't even know a few weeks ago.  I'm so glad I went to the weightwise support group meeting tonight because I got to see a bunch of you in person.  Wow!  I feel like I can do it now.  Thank you so much for listening/reading my drama.  I have prayed about this and well, I'm gonn put my big girl panties on and deal with it!  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  And, I have the support of some of the most wonderful people in the world...you guys!  Plus my hubby is the best and supporting me 100%.  Okay, so if I start complaining about those shakes just tell me to suck it up (ha! I made a pun!).  -Amy

Amy - it was such a pleasure to  meet you in person tonight!  I really love the people I have met through WW.  We all understand each other and what we're going through.  I just love the support group meetings.  Such a nurturing atmosphere.  Love that Dr. Keller.  Sorry you didn't stay for the second hour but maybe next time.  I will say a little prayer for you that your liquid phase goes quickly and successfully! I keep telling you guys I love you all!!  I get so much support myself from helping you guys go through your journey!!  It doesn't get any easier the further away you get so I need your support and encouragement just as much as I hope I provide for you!! Amy - you CAN and WILL do this!  We are here, we have been or are going through it as well.  Hang in there and we will be here for you!! It was great meeting everyone tonight!!  We are a little bit CULTISH though!!  HAHA!

Amy, you can do it for sure! I love your pun ... made me giggle outloud! ; ) I feel there is real support here, too! I've got you in my prayers for determination and great success with these last few pounds to leave and for your successful surgery and speedy recovery! : )

Amy - believe me you CAN do it..if I could do this (over 50 lbs pre-op), you can do this; when I focused on the plan and did it right, I would lose 10 to 12 lbs. every two weeks. So, stay focused, take it one day at a time and what kept me going was knowing that the shakes and the rest of the supplements were only temporary. And by the way, if you want to complain, go right ahead !!! - You will make you surgery date, I know it. - Anna

I dont know what I would have done without this board.  EVERYONE has been so helpful, supportive, understanding, loving, you name it.  It has truely been a Godsend to meet each and everyone of you on here.  To the ones I have met in person already it has been great, to the ones I havent met YET, I look forward to it someday.  I love you all, and yes you are all my girls.  Dan The Sultan Man (I had to do it, lol)

Sultan Man - I have a complaint!  I picked on you on the boards the other day regarding your secret relationship with Ruth and you didn't respond!  Don't you know it's no fun to pick on someone if they don't squeal at least a little bit????  C'mon!
