Allergies and Cramps

OK, first of all, this is the first time all year that my allergies have really acted up, and I can barely move, my head is so stuffed up. When my allergies get to going, all my energy goes bye bye. Sorry, just had to complain a little about that. OK, here's the real question. I've never had cramps, like at all, and I'm worried a little that after surgery that will change. Have any of you girls out there noticed anything like that getting worse? I really like not having cramps, but if I'm going to have them, I'd rather be prepared. Thanks girls!

Michelle, Sorry you have the snipples.................As far as the cramps go, I can't help you with that one. I don't have those.

Michelle: I'm sorry you are feeling sniffly.  I certainly know the feeling!  Darned Oklahoma winds!!! As far as the cramps, Dr.Chard took care of that little issue for me a few years before my WLS, so I have nothing to base that on.  I hear a little bit of both sides when going through the forums here, so there doesn't appear to be a real consensus either way. I know that WLS does a real job with your hormones for a little while.  It seemed to me, like RIGHT after surgery.  I was up, I was down, I was all over the place!!  It is a crazy, crazy ride!!! Hang in there and all will be well!! R

OMG Ruth!  Dr. Chard is my very favorite doctor!  I love him!  I even called him and consulted him before I made my WLS decision!

You crack me up Kim!!  He did my hyst and also delivered my daughter's twins last June!!  He is a great doc!!!  We have SOOOOO freakin' mu*****ommon us EAST SIDE GIRLS!!   roflmao!!

Michelle, my first monthly after wls surgery was the worst I've ever had but I took a little bit of the liquid Loratab  that I was sent home with for surgical pain and it was gone quickly.  My second monthly I had no cramps at all.  I hope this is your experience after your surgery.  I had never had bad cramps prior to surgery but I think it may be that your hormones are all in flux and just trying to get equalized out after the surgery trauma.
