Introducing myself and a question

Hi everyone! First time poster here. Been a "lurker" for a while. I'm a patient of Dr. Broussard at Weight Wise and I just got my surgery date of May 12. I'm so happy and relieved. Felt like the pre-op weight I had to loose was taking forever to come off! I have my pre-op appts this Friday. I think after that I'll really be excited. I've just set up a new profile and I'm having a hard time getting a picture to upload. Every time I try, it says my pic is too large. I've resized pics to meet the requirements, but still no go. Any suggestions? Looking forward to getting to know you all. Cindy

Hi there!  Congrats on your upcoming surgery date!  I have no idea how to help you with the avatar but looks like some of the others can help on that.

Thanks everyone for the welcome and help. I've finally got a picture posted and now am on to tweak my profile. I love this board! Hoping to be at support tomorrow night. After I went for my "requirement" I felt like it was going to be a huge help in being successful. It was really informative and comfortable. Hope to see you there! Cindy

Glad to welcome you to OH.  This is a great environment.  But even better are the support group meetings.  I agree with you that they are very comfortable and encourage participation.  I think a lot of credit goes to Dr. Keller.  He is a great moderator and easy to talk to. Anyway, welcome!  We all have a better chance of getting to our goals more quickly if we support each other! See you tomorrow! Kim
