Shelly's Surgery is a Done Deal!

This is Amanda, Shelly's daughter. She is out of surgery and in her room. She flew through without any trouble and Dr.  Nelson seemed very pleased. The surgery lasted right at an hour. She is having  minimal pain and her biggest complaint is that she wants a nap. Trust me if she could be on the computer right now she would be! I will keep you updated until she takes the computer from me! Amanda

Thanks for the udate Amanda!  I'll be thinking about her.  I had my surgery last Monday and I think I slept almost all of that first day.  Tell her congrats!

Hi Amanda, Thank you so much for the update! Let her know she is in my thoughts and prayers. I hope she continues with little or no pain . Tell her not to let the pain get away from her if she starts hurting ask for something! Thanks Amanda for the update!  I was wondering how she was doing.  Tell her to quit laying around because her bicycle is waiting for her!  Ha! I'm certain you will lose the laptop soon so enjoy! Hi Amanda, I am so glad to hear your moms surgery went well.  I had my sleeve done on the 9th and the only time I didnt sleep was the three times they made me get up and walk.  Dito on the pain meds.  Tell her to keep on top of it, because it is a lot easier to keep ONTOP of the pain that it is to catch up with the pain.   Tell you mom, congrats and let us know if we can do anything.
