I did something today that I never thought I would willingly do. I bought my own personal scale to weigh myself at home. I got it home, weighed, and I'm down another 2 pounds this week. That means I have another 3.5 pounds left til I hit my goal weight and have my surgery, and I have to do it all in a week!! AHHH.

OK, I lied lol. I weighed the first time with a full bladder and with my tennis shoes on, so I only have 1.5 pounds left to lose lol. I think that's manageable!!!

It is such an accomplishment to lose the pre-op weight.  I am thinking it must be one of the harder aspects of this entire journey.  You will lose the rest no problem!

GO MICHELLE GO Be sure when you go to weigh that you wear everything as light as possible. Take off any jewelry, underwear LOL. Even your socks and shoes. Heck, even get a haircut if you have too......... Seriously you will do fine as long as you don't gain. When is your appointment?

Thanks for all the good words. Rita, I'm not going to cut my hair lol, it took me 3 years to grow it out this long, and I'm not going to cut it off now, expecially not for 1.5 pounds ;) My surgery is on Monday the 5th, I'm not sure what time it will be, but hopefully it will be early so I can get out of the hospital lol. And yes, the pre op weight is the hardest, especially this last 8 pounds, it's been horrible. Gah, I have to go pee again, it's 4 pm, and i've gone probably 6 times so far. I know, TMI, but still, it's getting old.

I think I have enough hair to not notice when it starts falling out, but still. I did cut my hair short one time, and it looked pretty good, but I think I can handle this last pound lol. BTW, do you know when I can call and find out the time of my surgery?
