STALL  That's okay though. I feel fortunate to have come this far without one.  I'll just have to work harder. Hope everyone is doing okay. Wish this OKLAHOMA wind would blow somewhere else though. Have a great weekend. Rita

Rita, you've come a long way before your first stall though, so stay positive.  I had a stall during my pre-op diet I thought I would never overcome and it was discouraging to know I was eating the right way and I wasn't losing, so hang in there, you'll get over this little bump in the road in no time!

If anyone can make it through a stall, you can Rita!  We can all be your cheerleaders, you've certainly been ours! Robyn

Rita,  being two weeks behind you I have almost copy-catted you symptom per symptom and pound per pound lost...it's really odd to me.  But, I have felt the stall coming on also.  I think our body is saying....when is this going to end....you're starving me!!!  Help!!!  And from reading the RNY boards....I think we have to trick our body by increasing the water and protein intake while not increasing the overall calorie intake too much and/or exercise more (or in my case ACTUALLY START REALLY exercising.)  Sometimes increasing the calorie intake a bit helps some people.   I wouldn't worry about it.  If you are pretty consistently sticking to the rules this will work.  And I will be waiting to hear how you overcame this stall and be using your wisdom in just a week or so...I should change my username to Rita's Copy Cat or Crickett's Copy Cat!!!  he he he

Darn those stalls!!!!  I bet that is really frusterating.  At least you know that everyone goes through it and recognize you are fortunate to have waited this long before hitting one.  I hear the others say that they put up the scales for a week or two during a stall so they don't get depressed about it and instead they focus on how their clothes fit and taking measurments.  You are awesome and an inspiration to many of us!

Thanks guys for the encouragement. You know I realized this morning that I weighed in jeans yesterday, and I usually weigh in my scrubs. Hopefully that made a difference. I'm not weighing again until next Thursday though.
